Built in the style of a land hotel, with much attention to detail, a NON-SMOKING FLOOR and an especially friendly, caring service: We invite you to leave the hasty life behind and relax for a time. In the whole house, the owner "Gabi" creates a lovely atmosphere in every season by means of flower decoration, candle lights, fresh colours, paintings from the Wachau, aromas and music, and thus creates a nearly private atmosphere.

It may be hard to find the right words to describe what makes the hotel Wachau so different, what lends it its special character and personality. This is not due to one single element, but it is much rather a harmonious interplay of a number of visible and invisible things, which form a harmonious entirety. Being probably the smallest 4 star hotel in Wachau with a NON SMOKING FLOOR , have our staff will welcome you in a most friendly and caring manner, inviting you to forget the hustle and bustle of every day life and spend some relaxing moments! The hotel is partly accessible for disabled people, however the rooms/bathrooms are not.

Food & Beverage

Our quality criteria are a matter of personal taste, and the heart of our house lies in our kitchen. Our restaurant is ideal for those who love a stylish and romantic atmosphere and appreciate warm cordiality. We especially recommend fresh fish from home waters, prepared with fresh herbs from our own garden. Opening hours: 4 pm - midnight (Kitchen opens from 5 pm to 10 pm) “Wachau“ Breakfast Buffet from 7 to 10 am Taste the fresh and natural savour of the morning! The spicy fragrance of farmers’ bread. Juicy red apples and fresh vegetables. Savoury the rich Wachau style breakfast buffet with wholemeal bread, muesli, and fruit juices. What our regular guests particularly enjoy is our home made apricot jam, our fresh crisp stone baked bread, our natural organic food and cheese corner, and numerous types of tea at our tea bar.

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate.

If cancelled up to 18:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

All children are welcome. One child under 2 years is charged EUR 10.00 per night and person in a baby cot. Extra beds are not available. Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 2.
